Join Woodsman, Author and Storyteller Bill Torrey for an entertaining evening as he shares true
stories of his life growing up during the ‘60’s and his forty-year career working in the hills of
Vermont. Bill’s Vermont roots began in 1767 and have been growing deeper ever since.
Inspired by the rugged heritage of his family, Bill devoted his life to working in the wood. He
did his first log job when 16 years old and by the time Bill was 19, he was working as a
lumberjack earning eighty cents a tree and all the sawdust he could eat.
His first book, The Ta Ta Weenie Club, was released in the fall of 2016.
His second book, Working Out of It, will be coming out in 2019.
